On Wednesday, September 23, join chef Derek Ronspies and Olsen Farms for a wonderful five-course meal. The fantastic supper starts at 7pm at Le Petit Cochon, and is $79/person, plus tax & gratuity. There’s also an optional (but heartily recommended) $35 libation pairing that includes both wine and cocktails—the full beverage menu will be available as well. Johnny and the Moles, a funky, jazzy local band, will be providing live music for the evening as well! XXX from Olsen Farms will be in attendance to shed light on some of the delicious, oft-neglected cuts of meat alongside chef Ronspies.
Here’s the menu:
Porchetta di Testa with melon, capers, Parmesan, arugula, mustard seed vinaigrette, and radish
Bone Marrow with Oxtail Ragout, horseradish dilly tater tots, celery vinaigrette, and beet purée
Scallop with Blood Sausage Crouton, corn cake, chanterelles, pine nuts, and lentils
Lamb Heart Pastrami with caraway and cheese tortellini, fermented kraut, apple mustard butter, pickle vinaigrette
Carrot Cheese Cake with lardo frosting, sherried grapes, toasted coconut,
walnut butter, crispy pig ears
It’s sure to be a delicious and informative night—join Ronspies and the gang for a stellar meal. The next quarterly dinner is on Tuesday, December 15—it’ll be a duck-centric dinner with Pleasant View Farm!
